🌿 Our Story

The Rusty Sprout began with two sisters, a shared love for growing things, and a dream of building something meaningful from the ground up. What started as a small backyard project quickly blossomed into a passion for helping others discover the joy of gardening.

We spent our weekends nurturing seedlings, experimenting with Texas‑friendly plants, and crafting rustic garden goods that felt warm, simple, and handmade. Over time, our hobby grew into a vision for a small, intentional plant business rooted in creativity, community, and a love for the land.

Today, we’re proud to be a sister‑run micro‑nursery in San Antonio, Texas, offering small‑batch seed starters, seasonal seedlings, native plants, and earthy handmade garden items. Everything we grow is done with intention: plants that thrive in Texas heat, products that feel like home, and guidance that makes gardening approachable for everyone.

At The Rusty Sprout, we believe in slow growth, honest work, and the magic of watching something small become something beautiful. Whether you’re a first‑time gardener, a seasoned plant lover, or simply someone who appreciates handmade goods, we’re here to share our love of growing with you.

Rooted in Texas soil. Grown with heart. Shared with community.
